8 A Shift from Getting to Receiving

Something changes. It is like standing in a supermarket and having no money. You want the things displayed there, but you do not have the currency to pay for them. You look at the things, you are hungry and thirsty, you get angry, and you think of stealing. It feels unfair that everything is placed right in front of you, yet you are not able to have it. Maybe there are other people in this supermarket, and they are choosing whatever they feel like choosing and putting it into their baskets. They seem to do it in such a carefree and natural way; some of them are even joyful. You get more and more angry. You have to do something. You choose to leave the supermarket because you can’t bear looking at what is not for you any longer. Maybe you decide to take something and walk towards the exit. Maybe you ask one of the other people how they can choose all these things so happily.

By exiting or asking, you realize that all of these things are for free. Right at the entrance was a sign that says: "Choose what feels good for you." You just had not seen it. And then, you enter the supermarket again. Everything looks the same (maybe more colorful and brighter). You had spent quite some time there, looking and choosing. And now you can pick it and bring it Home. You had always been included.

A Shift in Prayer:

I can’t, please send something, I am breaking.
>>> I can, and I have all the support that I need to transform this experience into my Highest Good.
